Q&A With Ragan Kinkade







Ragan Kinkade is a senior here at Olathe Northwest, is playing her first year of high school golf, and is playing exceptionally well for her first year. We sat down with Ragan for a quick Question and Answer (Q&A) interview. This is what she had to say;
Q: Where have you played best this season?
A: I played best so far this season at Meadowbrook Country Club.
Q: Who do you play best with?
A: I play best with my dad who introduced me to golf. I also play the most with him.

Q: How do you prepare before a meet?
A: I listen to music and of course i eat.

Q: Do you consider yourself a leader on the team? 
A: I think so, along with the other senior Chloe (Kraus) we do a great job leading the girls.
Q: What is your best golf memory?
A: Probably just practicing with my team, its laid back and we have a lot of fun together.

Q: What is your worst golf memory? 
A: Playing at Heritage Golf Course, i did bad at the Heritage tournament, i didn’t shoot the best.
Q: How do you compose yourself after a bad shot? 
A: Coach Tucker has a 20 step rule, we have 20 steps to get over a bad shoot.
Q: Who inspired you to play golf?
A: My dad introduced me to golf so he is the one who inspired me to play.

Q: Where is your favorite place to play? 
A: My favorite place to play is Saint Andrews Golf Course.
Q: What are your greatest hopes and fears?
A: My greatest hope is too play collegiate golf and maybe even go pro. And my worst fear is that i won’t play collegiate golf.
